On Leap Day, February 29, 2012, the Prize Patrol climbed into their trusty van and set out to surprise the newest SuperPrize winner, Jason Clark of Pocahontas, AR.

During a long van ride across Arkansas, the Prize Patrol sent video updates that were posted on the PCH Fan Page. They sent behind-the-scenes peeks from the road, as well as some tantalizing clues like “The winner lives in a state that is bordered by at least 3 other states.” Fans were kept on their toes – wondering if their state was the chosen one!

Finally, the Prize Patrol arrived in Pocahontas, Arkansas, a town in Northeast Arkansas. Collecting the balloons, flowers, and champagne, the group set out towards the winner’s home, wondering if he would be there when they rang the doorbell. Well, it turns out he wasn’t!

While the Prize Patrol was preparing to surprise him, winner Jason Clark left his home. When the Prize Patrol arrived to the winner-less house, they had Jason’s wife give him a vague phone call, asking him to return home. The Prize Patrol parked around the corner, patiently awaiting Jason’s arrival.

Jason Clark was dumbfounded when he saw Dave Sayer, Danielle Lam, and Todd Sloane standing at his door. Jason’s response when Dave revealed the Big Check for $1,000,000.00? “Ohhh, whatever!” Jason followed in the footsteps of his mother who has been entering the PCH sweepstakes for years. This hard-working barge worker and father of four is looking forward to spending a lot more time with his family now that his ship has come in! Will you be next?
