PCH Contest Department

The Publishers Clearing House Contest Department is responsible for planning and administering all PCH Giveaways from registration and eligibility requirements through drawings and prize awards. No wonder they are also known as the Department of Winning Experiences!

This specially trained group keeps track of all the giveaway details, writes the Official Rules, issues processing instructions and makes sure the winners receive their prizes in a timely fashion.

Maryann Carter is the PCH Contest Department Manager. Many customers recognize her name since it is often used in PCH promotions. Maryann joined the PCH Contest Department in 1995. As Contest Manager, Maryann is responsible for all facets of contest processing and integrity. A major portion of her job is the coordination and overseeing of all sweepstakes drawings as well as making sure that all prizes are timely awarded. Maryann enjoys seeing the excitement on our winner’s faces as they react to being surprised in person by the Prize Patrol and feels that, in a small way, her job helps to contribute to the happiness of our PCH winners.

Other members of the department work with Maryann to support sweepstakes administration for all Publishers Clearing House winning experiences. Whether it’s online, in the mail, on a mobile device or in an app, the members of the Contest Department write the Official Rules, issue processing instructions, keep track of all giveaway information and help fulfill prizes for winners.
